Disaster: The No-Puff Pastry.

Ugh.
Can I begin by telling you how expensive it is to screw up my Apple Cinnamon Strudel with Cinnamon Whipped Cream recipe? Dufour puff pastry = $12 (and worth every penny, when properly baked).
I should have just bought the box, brought it home, and thrown it down the garbage chute. (Well, I guess I should have taken the pastry out of the box and thrown that down the chute and then recycled the box it came in, but you get my point). I could have saved myself a lot of time peeling and slicing and measuring and rolling and caring if I knew I was going to under bake the crap out of this normally fantastical dessert.
Do yourself a favor- follow my instructions in the “successful” post and don’t do what I did. As they say, do as I say, not as I do. (Like here, in another real and raw moment.)
