Charred Coconut Carbon Chips.

We don’t really need to go into the details of this particular disaster.
It’s really quite reminiscent of the time I overbaked the nuts, and the macaroons, and the coconut bar things.
There really isn’t anything for me to add, other than this poignant question:
“How many times do I need to learn the important lesson that nuts need to be watched when they are being toasted in the oven so they don’t burn, time and time and time again?”
Answer:
“A lot.” Apparently.

I have found that if you put the oven on broil and watch it the whole time, they cook perfectly.
Yeah, that’s the whole thing I’m just too all over the place to watch them the whole time… I need more patience!! Glad you have it though.
