Egg Shell… What the Hell?

Look closely, my friends.
See them? The two little pieces of egg shell?
By the time I noticed them it was too late. I had already mixed, poured, and put what I was baking into the oven. I had no way of knowing whether other shells- evil little renegade shells- made their way into the finished product (which shall remain nameless, because I still plan on serving it to The Husband, of course). We all know that where there’s smoke, there’s fire… where some egg shells remain at the bottom of your measuring cup, other egg shells (likely) remain in the depths of your baking batter.
If The Husband complains, I’ll show him this post with a sheepish apology. If he inhales the finished product without experiencing the gritty crunch between his teeth, I won’t say a word. Thanks for keeping a secret.
