Twinkie Trouble.

  • Mistake Twinkie- Overstuffed

    I know, I know.

    Some might not call this a ‘disaster’ at all.  Some might call it a resounding success.

    Homemade Twinkies are amazing things, and deserve to be stuffed full of fluffy, not-good-for-you frosting.  It’s the definition of ‘stuffed’ that’s up for debate.  Nearly bursting is acceptable.  Chock full is acceptable.  A frosting explosion is unacceptable, especially when your recipe only makes 12 little Twinkies and you effectively ruin one of them by being too aggressive with the “fill these puppies up” mantra while piping the filling in.  That’s eight-point-something percent of your batch that you then can’t wrap up and give away, like you had planned.

    Not that The Husband minded.  The pool of filling didn’t exactly linger on the parchment paper, and as for the remaining Twinkie carcass… it didn’t go to waste either.
    Always a happy ending.  As the picture implies- in a kinky kind of way.  Kinky Twinkie… get it?  Oooh, bad.
